You can easily integrate Twain with HeyReach to automate and scale your outreach while keeping it highly personalized. Here’s how to set it up step by step.
Step 1: Create a Campaign in HeyReach with an Empty Lead List.
1️⃣ Start by logging in to HeyReach and creating a new campaign.
💡 Detailed step-by-step text + video guidance available in the Create a Campaign section.
Name your campaign however you prefer (e.g., Twain Campaign).
Create an EMPTY new lead list. It must be empty, as this is where Twain will send leads from your website.
Configure any exclusion options as needed.
Next, choose a Sender from your list of teammates. 💡 Check your sender limits for more details.
⚠️ Warning
Choose Senders not involved in any other campaigns so they’re always available when Twain sends new leads. Otherwise, their limits might be used up in other campaigns.
After setting your Sender:
Create a Sequence.
It’s best to choose a conditional sequence using the If connection option:
If the lead is connected, you can send them a message immediately.
If not, add steps like connection requests or engagement before messaging.
Leave message fields empty for now.
Once your sequence is ready, launch the campaign.
🧠 Since your lead list is empty at this stage, it won’t start running yet.
Step 2: Export from Twain to HeyReach
2️⃣ Go to Twain and select the personalization you created for a specific lead.
Click Export Last Saved and choose HeyReach.
Click the three dots in the upper right corner to open a pop-up asking for your HeyReach API key.
Step 3: Get the API Key from HeyReach
3️⃣ Log in to your HeyReach dashboard.
Go to the Integration tab.
Find the HeyReach API section.
Click Get API key and copy the key.
Step 4: Configure Variables from Twain to Use in HeyReach
4️⃣ Return to Twain.
Paste your HeyReach API key.
Select the lead list you want to import to.
Name your Custom Variables however you like.
Click Export leads.
That’s it! Your leads will be automatically imported to your designated lead list in HeyReach.
💡 Double-check the imported leads in your HeyReach lead list to ensure accuracy.
Step 5: Map Your Variables in HeyReach Sequences
5️⃣ Go back to your HeyReach campaign.
Open Sequences and navigate to Messages.
Map variables by clicking on the custom variable names offered.
Add a Fallback message in case a variable is empty due to unforeseen changes in Twain.
Save your changes.
Now you’re ready to go, sit back and enjoy your fully automated, personalized outreach! 🌟
