MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard way for different software tools to connect and share information. Instead of each tool creating its own separate method of integration, MCP gives them a common format.
HeyReach + MCP
HeyReach now supports MCP, which means you can connect HeyReach with any tool that also supports MCP. This means you can seamlessly connect it with Claude, n8n, Clay, Visual Studio Code, Make and many more.
Each workspace has its own MCP Connection URL and MCP Key, and here’s how you can find them:
Go to your workspace in HeyReach.
Navigate to Integrations 👉 HeyReach MCP Server.
To get your MCP Key, click New MCP Key.
Once generated, the key and connection URL will be visible.
In most cases, you only need to copy and paste the Connection URL where requested to set up the integration.
🧠 You can always generate a new MCP Key. When you do, the Connection URL will automatically update as well.
MCP vs API: What’s the Difference?
API (Application Programming Interface)
Each API is built differently.
To connect two tools, developers usually need to create a custom integration.
Gets more complex as you add more tools.
MCP (Model Context Protocol)
A shared standard that all MCP-ready tools follow.
Once a tool supports MCP, it can connect to any other MCP tool immediately.
Simple, fast, and consistent across all tools.
This setup keeps everything organised by workspace, perfect for agencies and teams managing multiple clients. 💪
