How to integrate HeyReach MCP with Clay?

Updated this week

HeyReach now supports MCP (Model Context Protocol), making us one of the first LinkedIn outreach tools with an official MCP server. This means you can seamlessly connect it with Claude, n8n, Clay, Visual Studio Code, Make, and many more.and many more. 🚀🚀🚀

✍️ Requirement: You must be part of Clay’s MCP Beta program to enable this integration.

Connect with Clay

🎥 Access the video tutorial here

Step 1: Join the Clay Beta Program

  1. Open your Clay workspace settings

  2. Look for the option to join the Beta Program

  3. Activate it so that “Custom MCP Server” appears in your workspace

Step 2: Add a Custom MCP Server in Clay

Once you’ve joined the beta:

  1. Go to Workspace > Connections

  2. Click Custom MCP Server > Add Connection

  3. Name your server (e.g., HeyReach MCP Server)

At this stage, Clay will ask for two things: the HeyReach MCP Connection URL and MCP Key.

Step 3: Enable the Integration in Clay

Currently, Clay only allows MCP usage within Use AI mode, and it requires you to provide your own API key.

  1. Switch to ChatGPT with your own API key inside Clay

  2. Toggle HeyReach MCP on

  3. That’s it, you’re ready to prompt HeyReach data directly in Clay.
