Follow the steps below and you'll master Sales Navigator importing in no time. Just follow the rules and you'll be good to go.
‼️The maximum number of leads you can import per LinkedIn sender is 2,500 per import, and there is no workaround solution to increase this limit.
Step 1: Creating a list in Sales Navigator
🧑💻 If you haven't used LinkedIn Sales Navigator before, this step is for you. If you are already familiar, feel free to scroll down.
Log in to your LinkedIn Sales Navigator by clicking on the Sales Navigator icon on the top right of your LinkedIn account.
Open the 'Leads' panel, then click 'Create lead list', name your lead list, and click 'Create'.
Open the lead list and click 'Search for Leads'
Step 2: Use the filters to get your ideal leads
‼️ Ensure that the 'Lead', not 'Account', panel is selected for the import to be successful.
Sales Navigator provides a variety of filters you can use to get your ideal leads.

For instance, you can both include and exclude leads based on their company, region, function, and much more.
You can also use Boolean operators (e.g., AND, OR, NOT) for more accurate results.
💡 You can also use the 'Connection' filter to extract leads who are your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree connections. The 'Connections of' filter allows you to extract leads who are connected with a mutual connection.
Step 3: Import the leads from Sales Navigator to HeyReach
To export leads from Sales Navigator, copy the full URL of the filtered search and navigate back to HeyReach.
🚨 Not copying the whole URL will prevent you from importing the leads to HeyReach.
Once in HeyReach, open the Leads panel and click '+ Add Leads'. There, select the 'Sales Navigator (Leads)' import method and click 'Continue'.
‼️ The 'Sales Navigator (Accounts)' import method is used to import companies. The import will fail if this import method is chosen and you try to import leads (insert hyperlink here to the other import method).
Paste the full URL into the search box and enter your list name. The same sender who created the search must be used to import it for accurate results. Click 'Start Importing'.
‼️ If the import fails, please first check whether the sender's Sales Navigator license is successfully connected to the tool.
💡 While the sender who imports the search must be the same as the one who created it, the leads can be used by any sender once imported.
