What is the difference between Enriched and Custom Email in HeyReach?

In HeyReach, now you can find two types of Email columns visible for your leads:

Enriched Email

This email address is enriched via our internal systems and cannot be manually edited.

Custom Email

This is an email address you can import or edit manually in the tool. HeyReach does not populate this value.

To edit the custom email in a HeyReach Lead List:

  • Click on the lead's full name.

  • Lead's Profile card will open on the left side of the screen.

  • For the Custom Email, click on the pencil icon to edit the email address.

  • Hit Save to keep the changes.


Where are the Emails displayed in HeyReach?

Users can view both enriched and custom emails in:

  • The list view (under Enriched Email)

  • Lead Profile card (shows both Custom and Enriched email fields)

  • Inbox conversations

🧠 The Custom Email can be edited by clicking the pencil icon and saving the changes.


Email Rules when sending Leads from HeyReach to Instantly

  1. Leads without email will still be added to Instantly Lists (if already existing in the same list, they’ll be re-added without email).

  2. Leads without email cannot be sent to Instantly Campaigns (we will show an error message for this reason).

  3. Leads with an Enriched email only → The Enriched email is sent to Instantly.

  4. Leads with a Custom email only → The Custom email is sent to Instantly.

  5. Leads with both emails → The Custom email takes priority and is added to Instantly.
