Connecting Smartlead to HeyReach
To get started, you need to add your Smartlead API key.
Step 1. How to generate your Smartlead API key
Open Smartlead, go to Settings → Profile → Smartlead API Key
Copy the API key
Step 2. Paste the Smartlead Key to HeyReach
In HeyReach, go to Integrations → Smartlead
Select Connect Now
You’ll be prompted to paste your Smartlead API key
Once saved, HeyReach will display the integration as connected. ✅
🚨 The Smartlead integration and Add to Smartlead action are not available for whitelabel users.
Adding Leads to Smartlead Campaigns via HeyReach
With the Add to Smartlead action, you can now send leads directly to a Smartlead campaign. 🚀
To enable this:
Choose the Add to Smartlead action.
From the dropdown, pick the campaign you want to send leads to.
💡 The campaigns must be created/ available on Smartlead first. Only then can they automatically appear in HeyReach.

Connecting HeyReach to Smartlead
This setup lets you automatically push leads from Smartlead into your HeyReach.
Step 1: Create a SmartAgent
In Smartlead, open SmartAgents. You can create your SmartAgent in one of two ways:
Option 1: Build your own SmartAgent.
Тype your own prompt or instructions to define how the agent should run.
Option 2: Use a template.
Smartlead provides several ready-to-use templates.
For example: Push Replied Lead to a HeyReach Campaign.
Click Use This Template to set it up. ✅
🧠 If you create a SmartAgent from scratch, make sure to set up a SmartAgent Trigger before moving on.
Step 2. How to generate your HeyReach API Key
Open HeyReach, go to Integrations → HeyReach API → Get API Key
Generate the API key and Copy it
Step 3. Paste the HeyReach API Key to Smartlead
Return to the SmartAgent Builder in Smartlead.
Click Connect HeyReach.
Paste your HeyReach API key.
Click Connect.
Once connected, Smartlead will show a green confirmation label.
Step 4: Add the HeyReach Campaign ID
In HeyReach, go to Campaigns.
Open the campaign you want to push leads into.
Copy the campaign ID from the URL in your browser.
Paste this ID into Smartlead to save the configuration.
Step 5: Choose the Agent Trigger
To finalize the setup, choose when your SmartAgent should run.
Click Deploy in Smartlead to see the available trigger levels:
Account-level
Client-level
Campaign-level
For example, if you choose Campaign-level, simply select the Smartlead campaign from the dropdown and save your changes.
