How to move a LinkedIn sender to a different workspace

A step-by-step guide to moving a LinkedIn sender account from one workspace to another using HeyReach's new self-service sender move feature.

You can now move LinkedIn sender accounts between workspaces directly from the HeyReach UI โ€“ no need to contact support. This is available to all users and works for white-label users too.

โš ๏ธOnly Admins can move senders between workspaces. Managers and Members do not have access to this action.

How to move a sender

  1. Go to LinkedIn Accounts in the workspace where the sender is currently connected.

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the sender you want to move.

  3. Select Move to other Workspace.

  4. A drawer will open. Review the information shown about what the move will affect.

  5. Select the destination workspace from the list.

  6. Click the confirm button (it becomes enabled once a destination workspace is selected) to complete the transfer.

What happens when you move a sender

Moving a sender has immediate effects on any campaigns it's currently part of. Make sure you understand these before proceeding.

๐Ÿšจ The sender is removed from all active campaigns in the current workspace. This happens immediately and may disrupt ongoing campaign workflows. Pause any campaigns you want to protect before moving the sender.

Impact on leads in campaigns affected by sender removal:

  • Leads with no significant actions taken (no connection request sent, no message sent, no InMail sent) - these leads will be reassigned to another sender in the campaign and continue as normal.

  • Leads that already had significant actions taken - these leads will be marked as failed with an "account removed" error. They will not continue through the sequence.

๐Ÿ’ก If you want to retry failed leads after the move, you can manually resume them from the campaign's lead list once the sender has been reconnected in the destination workspace and added back to the campaign.

After the move

Once the sender has been moved:

  • The sender will appear in the LinkedIn Accounts list of the destination workspace.

  • It can be added to campaigns in the new workspace straight away.

  • The sender is no longer available in the original workspace.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to contact support to move a sender?
No - this is now fully self-service for Admins. Go to the three-dot menu on any sender and select "Move to other Workspace".

What if I only have one workspace?
The destination workspace selector will show your available workspaces. If you only have one workspace, you will not be able to move the sender as there is no destination to move it to.

Will the sender need to reconnect or re-authenticate after the move?
No - the sender's LinkedIn session moves with it. It will appear as connected in the destination workspace without requiring re-authentication.

What happens to leads that get marked as failed?
Failed leads with an "account removed" error remain in the campaign but are not contacted further. You can review them in the campaign's lead list and decide whether to retry or remove them.

Can I move a sender back to the original workspace?
Yes - the same process applies in reverse. Go to the destination workspace, find the sender, and move it back using the same three-dot menu.

I am a Manager - why can't I see the "Move to other Workspace" option?
This action is restricted to Admins only. If you need a sender moved, ask an Admin in your organisation to perform the action.
