How do Connection Request limits work in HeyReach?

Safety measures built in in HeyReach around Connection Request limits.

📒 Daily and weekly Connection Request limits

HeyReach has two distinct limits regarding the number of Connection Requests senders can send:

  1. Daily limit that the senders can configure on their end and is shared across all the sender's active campaigns.

  2. Weekly limit that is capped at 200 Connection Requests per sender, thereby ensuring compliance with LinkedIn's measures.

⚠️ These limits apply to all accounts, regardless of their status or licenses (Premium, Sales Navigator, or Recruiter).

Daily limits and recommendations

HeyReach allows senders to send up to 40 Connection Requests per day.

However, while the system does allow up to 40 per day, it's best to keep to the default daily limit of 25 Connection Requests per day once the account is warmed up.

☝🏼 If the account is warmed up and has >1,000 connections, increasing the daily Connection Request limit to 30 should not impact the account's health.

📝 Two ways to configure the daily limits:

  1. Go to the LinkedIn accounts panel.

  2. Click 'Configure Limits'

  3. Open any campaign the sender is part of and click 'Set Sender Limits'.

HeyReach safety measures: 'Cooldown Mode' and 'Locks'

  1. Cooldown Mode ❄️

HeyReach has two distinct safety mechanisms to ensure your senders remain in LinkedIn's good graces.

The first one is 'Cooldown Mode', which occurs when LinkedIn disallows your account from sending more Connection Requests due to crossing the weekly limit.

👀 'Cooldown Mode' is indicated by the snowflake icon next to the sender and is visible next to the sender across the platform.

Once HeyReach detects this, the tool will stop sending Connection Requests until next Monday, when the limit resets.

‼️ LinkedIn does not publicly disclose its weekly Connection Request limit, and it's dynamically determined for each account based on various factors. At most, it goes up to 200 per week.

2. Locks 🔐

The second type of account safety measure 'Locks' occurs when our system detects slight 'pushback' from LinkedIn.

Once HeyReach detects this, the tool will delay the execution of Connection Requests for a couple of hours, then attempt again.

😶‍🌫️ 'Locks' are not visible across the platform. If you see your sender underperforming and suspect it's due to a lock, please reach out to our support team.

🦺 Best Practices

Hitting your daily targets for Connection Requests while staying within LinkedIn's limits is a multistep process, but accomplishable.

Please follow the recommendations below:

  1. Warm up the sender before using it fully.

  2. Stick to the default 25 once the sender is warmed up.

  3. Ensure that your Connection Request acceptance rate is above 20%.

  4. Remove all unanswered pending Connection Requests on LinkedIn.

  5. Do not commit manual actions on LinkedIn while using HeyReach.

  6. Do not use other LinkedIn automation tools while using HeyReach.

  7. Set the working hours to an 8-12-hour range so that your senders have enough time to execute all necessary actions.

❓FAQs

Can I safely set my daily limit to 40 requests?

It is best not to. At most, set it to 30 if you have a high acceptance rate and over 1000 connections.

How do sending windows affect daily limits?

Short sending windows (e.g., 3 hours) may prevent reaching daily limits due to randomized delays. Use longer windows for better throughput.

How many Personalized Notes can I send with Connection Requests?

Free LinkedIn accounts can send a maximum of 10 Personalized Notes per month.

LinkedIn accounts with a paid license (Premium, Sales Navigator, Recruiter) can send an unlimited number of Personalized Notes with their Connection Requests.

My campaign is paused, but sends messages. How is this happening?

Personalized Notes are 'limbo' actions. They're sent alongside the Connection Request, but are not counted as a message until the Connection Request is accepted.

Once this happens, the Personalized Notes lands in the lead's inbox and is counted as a message.

Can 'Cooldown Mode' or 'Locks' be removed for a sender?

This is not possible. The purpose of HeyReach is safe, scalable outreach, and we cannot remove these limitations.
