How to connect my Recruiter account?

The best way to connect your LinkedIn Recruiter account to HeyReach is by using the HeyReach Chrome extension. Follow these steps for a smooth setup:

1. Install the HeyReach Chrome Extension

Begin by installing the HeyReach Chrome extension

2. Log in to LinkedIn and Sales Navigator

Open your web browser and:

• Log in to your primary LinkedIn account in one tab.

• Open the Recruiter account in a separate tab.

3. Connect Your Account in HeyReach

  1. Go to the LinkedIn Accounts tab in HeyReach.

  2. Click the Connect Account button.

  3. Select Connect via Chrome Extension.

4. Configure Inbox Privacy Settings

After selecting the Chrome extension, you’ll see the LinkedIn profile picture of the account you’re connecting.

Configure your Inbox Privacy by choosing one of the following options:

Track and import all LinkedIn conversations (last 30 days).

Track only conversations started from HeyReach.

Once privacy is configured, click Yes, Connect to complete the process.

5. Confirm the Connection

If all steps are followed correctly, your LinkedIn sender will show as Available, and the Recruiter icon will be highlighted in blue (as shown in the screenshot).

LinkedIn Recruiter Session Limitations

LinkedIn only allows one active session with a Recruiter account at a time. If you connect your account to HeyReach, you’ll be logged out of your Recruiter session on LinkedIn, and vice versa.

This limitation can be inconvenient for heavy Recruiter users. To avoid disruptions:

  1. Save all your Recruiter search links to a spreadsheet before connecting your account to HeyReach.

  2. Once you’ve finished working in HeyReach, you can reconnect to Recruiter without losing any valuable search data.
