🚀 Setting up a LinkedIn account is very easy 🚀.
There are two ways you can set up your LinkedIn account.
Option 1: Connect by entering your LinkedIn Credentials
This is the preferred way to connect your LinkedIn accounts, as it allows us to auto-relogin when the session ends, a.k.a. your LinkedIn account will never disconnect.
To connect your LinkedIn account, navigate to the LinkedIn Account section and click the “Connect Account” option.
To manually set up your account, fill in the valid and registered LinkedIn email and LinkedIn password section.

To continue you need to select the Inbox privacy configuration.
Available options for Inbox privacy configuration:
Track and import all LinkedIn conversations
Track only conversations started from HeyReach
“Track and import all LinkedIn conversations” means that you will get only those conversations that happened in the last 30 days. You'll also get all future conversations.
This is a super important privacy feature that allows you to protect your private LinkedIn conversations from being accessed by the other members of your organization.
💡 The login action can take from 1 to 4 minutes, and will be done in the background - so you don't have to wait on this screen.
When the connecting starts, the status of the LinkedIn account will be 'Connecting' until it changes to any other status indicating further input, please check this article in order to understand each status and it's meaning.
For the LinkedIn account that has 2 Factor Authentication, the next input to continue further is the PIN code required, basically , the status of the LinkedIn sender will change to 'PIN required' and then you need to click on the 'Enter PIN' section and provide the valid and newest PIN code.
Where to Find the PIN:
• Email Inbox: PINs sent via email are valid for 15 minutes.
• SMS: PINs sent via SMS are valid for 15 minutes.
• Google Authenticator: PINs are valid for 30 seconds.
Insert the PIN code you received and click the “Submit” button.
Once the PIN code is submitted, the LinkedIn sender will go into 'Syncing' status and eventually connect successfully. The time to sync could take from a couple of seconds to a maximum of 15 minutes.
The LinkedIn sender once successfully connected to HeyReach will be displayed with 'Available' status.
🔧 Technical explanation: In the background, we are starting a new login session for each LinkedIn account. We are dedicating a high-quality residential static proxy, and simulating a real person's device (PC or mobile).
Option 2: Connect by HeyReach Chrome Extension
If you don't feel comfortable sharing your LinkedIn credentials, or the standard login doesn't work for your LinkedIn account at the moment - feel free to use the Chrome Extension to login.
👉 Note: Logging through the extension is done using your current browser session (cookies), and may result in disconnecting the LinkedIn account from HeyReach, if you log out from LinkedIn. If that happens, we'll let you know, and you'll just relogin that LinkedIn sender.
First, you will need to install the HeyReach Chrome extension ✅.
When you have the extension installed, go back to HeyReach, and click on “Link Account”. Select the “Connect via our Chrome Extension” button.
Next, you need to log into the original LinkedIn account in a separate tab before going back to HeyReach.
Once successfully installed the HeyReach Chrome extension to your browser and logged in from the LinkedIn account in a separate tab, go back to HeyReach and navigate to the LinkedIn account tab, click on 'Connect Account', and then select the Connect via our Chrome extension option.
Next, you will see the LinkedIn account's profile picture and first name appearing on the screen which will help you identify if the correct LinkedIn account is about to get connected to HeyReach.
To continue you need to select the Inbox privacy configuration.
