There are two ways you can connect your LinkedIn account to HeyReach:
The first option is to do it via cookies
The second option is to manually set up your account using LinkedIn credentials (email and password).
Option 1: Connect your LinkedIn account to HeyReach via cookies
This is the preferred way to connect your LinkedIn account to HeyReach due to its ease of use and the fact that you don't have to share your LinkedIn credentials. The only downside is that connection sessions last shorter.
⚠️ To be able to connect your LinkedIn account to HeyReach via cookies, you need to use Google Chrome.

Step 1: Choose cookies as your preferred method
To connect your LinkedIn account using this method, you need to first open the LinkedIn accounts panel in HeyReach.
Once there, click on the 'Connect account' button and select 'Connect with cookies'.
Step 2: Install the Cookie-Editor extension.
Follow the link in the onboarding instructions and open the Cookie-Editor extension.
Installation of the extension should take less than 2 minutes.
Just click the >Add to Chrome < button.
Click >Add extension< on the pop-up.
And voila, Cookie Editor is installed.
Step 3: Read your LinkedIn cookies with the extension
Log in to your LinkedIn account and open the extension. Provide the extension with permission to read your cookies on LinkedIn.
Step 4: Export your cookies from Cookie-Editor
Afterwards, open the extension, click the 'Export' button, and export your cookies as a 'JSON' file.
Step 5: Import your cookies into HeyReach
Finally, paste the JSON file into the textbox on your onboarding screen, and click 'Next' at the bottom.
Step 6: Confirm the account connection
You will have to confirm that we found the correct LinkedIn account using the cookies provided.
If the account is yours, click 'Yes, that's me'. If not, please click 'No, that's not me'.
Step 7: Define inbox privacy configuration and Proxy settings
You will be redirected to the final page where you can select your Inbox Privacy Configuration and proxy (HeyReach-provided or custom).
‼️ The best practice is to choose the proxy that matches your geographical real-time location when connecting your account. It stands for the location LinkedIn registers your activity from. Choosing the right proxy immediately helps keep your account safe.
Once you've selected your preferences, click 'Connect account' (it might take up to 10 minutes for your account to successfully connect and sync).
⚠️ No PIN or password sharing is required for this method.
Step 8: Account is connected and ready for campaigns.
Once successfully connected to HeyReach, your account will be listed in the LinkedIn Accounts panel, and it will have an 'Available' status.
You are all set to create new campaigns with this sender now!
⚠️ The Cookies connection remains valid until you log out of LinkedIn from the computer you used for this process. Once you log in to LinkedIn again, the previous session is invalidated because you will have new cookies. In this situation, you need to repeat the process.
Option 2: Connect your LinkedIn account to HeyReach with your LinkedIn credentials
This method has two variations on how you can do it, but in general both have a longer session time duration than option 1.

Step 1: Choose Credential login as your preferred method
To connect your LinkedIn account using this method first open the LinkedIn accounts panel.
Once there, click on the 'Connect account' button and select 'Credentials login'.
Step 2: Fill in the credentials you use to log in to LinkedIn
In the next tab, you will be asked to enter your LinkedIn account's email address and password and 2FA secret key. 2FA key is not obligatory; credentials are.

Step 3: Define inbox privacy configuration and Proxy settings
Once done, click 'Next' at the bottom of the page, and you will be redirected to the final page where you can select your Inbox Privacy Configuration and proxy (HeyReach-provided or custom).

Step 4: Connect account
Once you've selected your preferences, please click 'Connect account' (it might take up to 10 minutes for your account to successfully connect).
The LinkedIn account's status will be 'Connecting' and will then change depending on the process.
The final input before the account is successfully connected is to enter the PIN. When this occurs, the status will change to 'PIN Required' and users need to click the 'Enter PIN' button to enter it.
Step 5: Get the PIN for final connection approval
Where to Find the PIN:
⚠️ PIN is a 6-digit code sent by LinkedIn. Where you receive the PIN depends on your 2FA settings on LinkedIn.
• Email Inbox: PINs sent via email are valid for 15 minutes.
• SMS: PINs sent via SMS are valid for 15 minutes.
• Google Authenticator: PINs are valid for 30 seconds.
Enter the PIN code you received and click the “Verify PIN” button.
Once the PIN code is submitted, the LinkedIn sender will go into 'Syncing' status and eventually connect successfully. The time to sync could take from a couple of seconds to a maximum of 15 minutes.

Step 6: The account is connected and ready for campaigns.
