If you signed up to HeyReach using Google, you can set a password directly from your Profile Settings. Once set, you will be able to log in with either your Google account or your email and password - whichever is more convenient.
Setting a password for the first time
If your account does not have a password yet, here is how to add one:
Log in to HeyReach using Sign in with Google.
Go to Settings - Profile Settings.
On the right side of the page, you will see a Set a Password section.
Enter your new password in the New password field, then confirm it in the Confirm new password field.
Click Send code. HeyReach will send a 6-digit verification code to your email address.
Check your inbox for an email from HeyReach Team - the code appears in both the subject line and the email body.
Enter the 6-digit code on the verification screen.
Click Change password. You will see a confirmation screen with "Password changed - Your new password is now active."
✅ You do not need to enter a current password when setting one for the first time - the 6-digit email verification code is what confirms it is you.
Changing your password
Once a password has been set, you can update it at any time from the same place.
Go to Settings - Profile Settings.
In the Change Password section, enter your old and your new password and click Save Changes.
That's it, your password is changed!
Logging in after setting a password
Once your password is set, you can log in to HeyReach in two ways:
Sign in with Google: same as before, no change needed
Email and password: enter your email address and the password you just set
⚠️ No password yet? If you try to log in with your email and password before setting one, you will see a message on the login screen prompting you to continue with Google or add a password from Profile Settings first.
Troubleshooting verification code issues
Incorrect code error
If you see "The code you entered is incorrect. Please double-check it and try again." - the code was entered wrong. Check your email again and make sure you are entering the most recent code sent, then try again.
Expired code error
Verification codes are valid for 10 minutes. If you see "Your verification code has expired. Request a new one to continue." - click Resend code to receive a fresh code and enter it promptly.
Code not arriving
If the email is not arriving:
Check your spam or junk folder for an email from HeyReach Team ([email protected])
Make sure you are checking the inbox for the email address registered to your HeyReach account
Wait a moment and click Resend code if it still has not arrived
If it still does not arrive, contact our support team via the chat widget
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to set a password?
No - setting a password is optional. You can continue logging in with Google Sign-In exactly as before. Setting a password simply gives you an additional login option.
Will setting a password affect my Google login?
No - your Google Sign-In continues to work after setting a password. Both login methods are active at the same time.
I cannot see the password section in my Profile Settings - why?
This feature is available to all Google Sign-In accounts. If the option is not appearing, try refreshing the page. If it still does not appear, contact our support team.
I am an admin - can I set a password for a team member?
Yes - admins can set or change passwords for Google Sign-In users from the Admin Panel without needing to go through the email verification flow. Email verification is only required for self-service password changes made by the user themselves.
I forgot my password - how do I reset it?
On the HeyReach login screen, click Forgot password and follow the instructions. Alternatively, you can always log in using Sign in with Google and then update your password from Profile Settings.
